Seeing as Anou likes to wander the various zones and continents while she waits for the [endless] LFR queues to [finally] invite her in, I put together a new outfit for the every day, for those quiet meandering kind of afternoons.

Blood Elf Ranger
One dark night, Anou found herself wanting to explore her roots and heritage, and decided to return to Eversong Woods and the Ghostlands. After rummaging through her trunk, she decided on something light, but warm, a hood and cloak, and one of her most trusty staves, one that would proclaim her Blood Elf, yet intimidate even the fiercest opponent.
Featured above: Cowl of the Grand Engineer, Destroyer's Cloak, Black Mageweave Vest, Ebon Filigreed Doublet, Veteran's Silk Belt, Conqueror's Deathbringer Leggings, Infernoweave Boots, Golden Staff of the Sin'dorei.
Incidentally, the helm drop was pure luck—not sure how many times we ran The Eye to get it. The cloak is a quest reward in Dustwallow Marsh, and although there are similar cloaks in game, I found this one to match the best. I was going for a hooded cloak look, and not the appearance of two separate pieces. The leggings belong to Warlocks only—other classes need not apply. /evil grin
(Forgive me for the mount glowing in blue fire, but he was what sparked this random adventure. His saddle, and bags do match, however, so, I still think it works. My husband earned that mount for me. Thank you, husband! <3 xxx)

Out In Style
Here's another of Anou's "around town" outfits, stuff you could wear on a daily basis, and pretty much all can be stored in a closet bank. She wore this while pet battling, and whist wandering around doing her Darkmoon Faire dailies.
Featured above: Embroidered Hat, Purple Martial Shirt, High Councillor's Sash, Black Tuxedo Pants, Dress Shoes, Stratholme Lily.
You could get the exact same look in green if you prefer, by using the Green Martial Shirt and Councillor's Sash instead. Russet Hat could possibly do the trick, but it's tan and green color may distract a bit from the rest. You may be tempted to replace the Tuxedo Pants with Brown Linen Pants, but let me assure you: it does not look good.
Then, of course, you could pair either of these shirt/hat/sash combos with, say a Simple Kilt too add a more feminine touch!

Adventure Awaits
Being a stylish girl, Anou likes to change up her outfits when she's out and about Azeroth doing various things. Here's an outfit that can be used daily around in the city, or maybe, as she did, to pet battle in style.
Featured above: Embroidered Hat, Golden Filigreed Doublet, Interlaced Belt, Lookout's Pants, Soft-Soled Linen Boots.
The nice thing about the above pieces is that all but one are not soulbound. You can use anything to replace the boots of course. Knitted Sandals (or Kurkenstoks—the only reason to roll an Alliance toon, as per Anou's opinion). Oddly enough, the Buccaneer's Boots didn't look bad because of the way they folded over, I think. Ringo's Blizzard Boots, on the other hand, looked terrible. So don't use those. Anou chose boots because she was in Tanaris, and didn't want to get sun-blisters on her toes, and was going for (almost) complete coverage from the sun.
The Umbrella of Chi-Ji would have been a nice touch but the colors somewhat clashed.
After a long day of pet battling, Anou returned to Orgrimmar to set foot—for the very first time—in the Brawlers Guild, to cheer on her husband's DK, and a few other guild mates.
Oh, and one last thing. If you're a Horde (and a hoarder (hehe)) you might want to double check all the vendors in Dalaran for cloth pieces like that Filigreed Doublet, or "novelty" items like Bottle of Dalaran White, that don't seem to be available anywhere else, and stock up before 5.2 when Jaina (probably) kicks us all out (for an undetermined(?) period of time).

The Critter Hunt
Anou took several hours on Sunday to progress with Battle Pets. See, she needs to be ready for the day someone lets loose a crate full of rodents on the beach in Krasarang Wilds. I wanted to increase her pet collection, switch out some low-quality ones for uncommon or rare ones, I wanted to work on some achievements, and other silly, non-stressful stuff.
Naturally, a girl has to be dressed for the occasion.

The Carousel Ride
While visiting the Darkmoon Faire this morning to get her daily fix of Whack-A-Gnoll, Anou rode the Carousel.
Featured above: Battered Jungle Hat, Black Mageweave Vest, Bombardment Bracers, Runed Stygian Belt, Empowered Leggings, Knitted Sandals, Flesh and Bone, Green Brewfest Stein.
Although this wasn't the most perfect outfit, perhaps too busy, or not exactly the same shades/colors, I really wanted to throw something together to sport my hard-earned Runed Stygian Belt! ;)

Supper at the Leger Demain
Another night out with the girls! This time though, Anou is feeling a bit catty as one of her friends joins her at the table wearing similar attire. Good thing her friend bought the first round...
Featured above: Twill Vest, White Swashbuckler's Shirt, Knitted Belt, Simple Kilt, Pagan Shoes, Wine Glass.
I chose the White Swashbuckler's Shirt because I love the flared sleeves and the crisp white color. However, any nicely contrasting colored-shirt would do. You could also pair it with one of the Argent Tournament souvenir shirts, or a Filigreed Shirt, and add the Knitted Sandals for a more summery ensemble.

Another Colorful Kilt Idea
For a stroll around Silvermoon City on a cool day, Anou chose to wear her Colorful Kilt in honor of the near Fall.
This is another feminine set, using an item I keep but can't really stand (hehe, sorry to all the Colorful Kilt lovers out there). The outfit can be worn more casually, I wouldn't recommend it for a wedding or event, but as a day-to-day walk-around-town kind of outfit it's pretty nice. The only thing is that Banshee Armor is no longer available in game unfortunately.
Featured above: Authentic Jr. Engineer Goggles, Banshee Armor, Stylish Black Shirt, Barbaric Cloth Belt, Uvuros Hide Gloves, Colorful Kilt, Recruit's Boots, Bouquet of Ebon Roses.
I chose the Barbaric Cloth Belt here because I find it repeats the purple-ish color of the kilt and the silvery lines in the top part of the outfit. The gloves are the same model and color as the Black Mageweave Gloves, so feel free to pop those babies in there instead. The only problem is that Banshee Armor is no longer available in game unfortunately. So, depending on your character's armor proficiencies, you can get a similar look wearing something else, but as this blog centers around clothies, you might want to try Drakeweave Raiment, Footpad's Vest, Knitted Tunic, Master's Vest/Netherweave Tunic, Ritual Tunic/Tattered Cloth Vest/Waterlogged Cloth Vest, or simply wear just the shirt with no chest piece over it.

A Flowery Post
For those who like to wear something that has class, yet is simple enough to wear around town, here's a lovely combination of cloth items that will suit (no pun intended) any female 'toon. Here's Anou after a hard day's work in Hyjal—having cleaned up, she looks for a quiet spot near the inn to take a break.
Featured above: Vindicator Tunic, High Councillor's Sash, Simple Kilt, Brewfest Slippers, Overflowing Purple Brewfest Stein (I knew one day I'd find a use for this item).
The outfit above it pretty simple and makes a good starting off point for someone looking to transmog a purple outfit. You'll have to change the shoes and "weapons" though. A good combination could be Knife of Incision and Fire-Runed Grimoire (or any of its look-alikes).
If you're looking to be a bit more modest, you can always pop the Wound Dressing underneath for a crisp, low-cut-camy look. Another nice off-hand could be a bouquet of flowers. Whatever you have on hand will work, but I chose the Bouquet of Ebon Roses because of its dark, neutral quality.

Anou Gets a Dog
Here is a day to day outfit one could use, say, to go out to the dog park with your faithful companion. Incidentally, Anoukisse only just got her own Perky Pug this year, evidence of how she (I) hates using the LFG feature.
Featured above (not all items featured in every image): Authentic Jr. Engineer Goggles, Brocade Vest, Sleeveless T-Shirt, Uvuros Hide Gloves, Brocade Belt, Inconspicuous Pantaloons, Flax Boots, Basilisk Bone. Novelty item: Rope Pet Leash.

The Harbor Grill
Anou was invited out by a couple of friends, they met up at the Harbor Grill for drinks, so casual was key. This is another daily outfit, something I'd say can be worn in autumn, mostly because of the coloring. It's a mix of a couple of outfits, and all the pieces are being re-used to make a new outfit, thus saving precious bag space!
If you look closely, I changed her belt for the second photo, to show a different option. For the cooler weather, I like to wear this with Felheart Slippers, a warlock-specific tier piece.
Featured above: Sylvan Vest, Golden Filigreed Doublet, Knitted Belt (top)/High Councillor's Sash (bottom), Mistscape Pants, Knitted Sandals.

The Colorful Kilt
Now, here is an item that presents a challenge: The Colorful Kilt. It looks like it belongs in a circus--or more specifically, on top of one. I've seen many people dress it up or dress it down, and can't say I was in any way convinced that Anou needed to have one in her already packed wardrobe. However, trying to put an outfit together around a belt I found on the Auction House, I found a place for it. (At least temporarily.)
Featured above: Crimson Felt Hat, Black Mageweave Vest, Undercity Doublet, Ritual Belt, Colorful Kilt, Recruit's Boots, and Sulfur Stave.
Featured above: Same outfit, accessories removed.
What I like about this outfit, is that the blacks and browns are all in the same hues, and they tend to lean toward the pinkish/redish/purples in the kilt. The Undercity Doublet adds matching sleeves to the vest, but you could as soon leave the arms bare. Basically, I find it pimpin' as a whole. (No pun intended.)

Spring Walk
Going out for a walk in spring can be tricky. Will it be warm? Will it be cool? What's the air like...? Here's an outfit that can pull double-duty in spring or fall. I like that the chest piece is a neutral enough color to be able to switch the shirt beneath to better match the pants you choose. Or, you can wear no shirt at all underneath, for an airier look in warmer climates. Personally, I like to go with the denim look.
I would have liked to find a pair of "jeans" that reached Anou's ankles, but so far I have only found carpi-like pants, although these are longer than the Royal Trousers, for example. Also, those sandals are always in my bags and very handy, but I'm still looking for a decent shoe or boot to go with this outfit.
Featured above: Thread-Bare Hat, Crochet Vest, Formal White Shirt, Sodden Cloth Belt, Mistcape Pants, Knitted Sandals.
You may wonder why I chose so many grey-quality items for my outfits. It's simple. They are never soulbound. So when I am tired of wearing this get-up, I mail it over to my "bank 'toon" to pack away for another day! Furthermore, I don't think day-to-day clothes like the items featured above can truly be believable when off to do battle, so there's no need for the individual items to be "transmogrifiable".

Little Bolero
Here's another simple outfit, relatively easy to have crafted by your friendly neighborhood tailor. It suits a cool summer evening or a warm autumn day in my opinion, and can be combined with a variety of off-hands such
as books or flowers or drinking steins to give it a more specific look.
The Haliscan Jacket has what looks like a wide red belt just above the normal waistline. So, I matched it with these particular pants to make it look like they are high-waisted capris!
Below, I've paired it with Fire Runed Grimoire because I like the dark contrast and neutral color of it. As for flowers, I personally like the Dreamseeker Dandelion best because it offers a vivid contrast to the darker clothing, but any flowers will do.
Featured above: Haliscan Jacket, Crimson Silk Pantaloons, Knitted Sandals, Fire Runed Grimoire.
You can also add a pair of Authentic Jr. Engineer Goggles for a more summery look, as I did in the pictures below. In the bottom shot, you can see Anou holding the Dreamseeker Dandelion I mentioned earlier.
